Another great find from Costco! I should really get kick backs from them seeing how often I mention Costco!! Find this in the cold / fresh veggie section. Works amazing not just in a smoothie or juicers, but because its so finely shredded for smoothies, it works AMAZING in stir fry's. Cooks down really fast so just need to toss in at the end once your protein is cooked. Its pre-cut, washed and has carrots, red chard, kale, broccoli and beet greens.

Sometimes I feel like a good old Tim Horton's Ice Cap or a Frappuccino, but I don't want all the fat and sugar that comes with them. I make a protein shake with a chocolate or peanut butter chocolate whey, a bunch of ice, unsweetened vanilla, chocolate or plain almond/cashew/soy milk, and add either half or whole pack of instant coffee (about a tablespoon if you have instant coffee). Its such a great treat! |
Just got this potato slicer, Starfrit, about $15 from Walmart. Makes fries SO quick. If potatoes are in your diet, this is a must have! Straight into the oven or Tfal Actrifry! |
FAT BURNERS! To take to not to take?
I say, take! Fat burners can help support fat loss by increasing metabolism, thermogenesis, sustain a healthy appetite, and minimizing cravings. They can also aid in exercise potential by increasing energy and mental focus. There are many products out there and I cant tell you which is best as they can react different to different people, but they basically fall into two categories: Stimulant-based and stimulant-free. Make that fat burner work better for you and take 30min before eating. Drink up as well. Because most burners have caffeine in them, which acts as a diuretic to some degree, don't skimp on the water...a blog on this to follow! Burners should also be cycled. Your body can desensitize itself to fat burners. About 4weeks on and 2weeks off is a good rule of thumb. |

I am not a huge fan of drinking my whey protein just plain with water. And sometimes I don't want or cant have a fancy doctored up shake. Nine times out of ten, I eat my whey! Take 1scoop of whey, 1tbs peanut or almond butter, tiny tiny bit of water and stir into a thick fudge like consistency. For some of you, you could even use some semi sweet chock chips, shredded coconut, maybe some fruit, chunky Peanut butter....way better then drinking that plain shake!!

Flavor Gods - An amazing brand of spices primarily found in the US. Everything, everything spicy, garlic lovers and lemon and garlic. Lucky enough to have a local supplement store, Xtremeline Supplements, carrying it. Definitely one of my favorites!! Call ahead as it sells out FAST!

Plain oatmeal gets old very quick. Try one of these Epicure spices to give some life to your oatmeal without the added sugars. Apple pie, pumpkin pie and poudre douce.. all SUGAR FREE!!
Couple things here that I love! First, the TFal Actifry. Its amazing for potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggies, etc. Only requires a tablespoon of oil (use olive, avocado, coconut, etc) close the lid and walk away. The second is just some cheapo-thingy from walmart or bed bath and beyond to slice those potatoes or whatever else WAY faster! Use these together and be done in a flash!

- 1cup eggwhites - 1 to 11/2cup almond milk - 1tbs of smores sugar free syrup - mocha Mio to your liking. It's absolutely delicious people, I promise! And creamy too but not in a creepy egg way! (I strain mine JUST in case, no chunkies!!) |
